Seriously, you will find the whole family working on any given day! Recently re-opened in April of 2026, after being closed for remodeling following the storm two years prior.
Opened by a family of commercial fishermen, after 10 yrs., one of the original chefs bought it and has ran it for years with his wife, Laura. Valentino and Laura offer a splash of new aesthetic menu items while holding on to that Old Florida feel. Our favorites are the Island Chicken, Awesome seafood platters, and Land and Sea Combos.
Long standing since the early 20’s. Gaylord Garner bought it in the 50’s and his son, Allen, took over after his father died in the 80’s. It started as a wholesale company where people could buy locally caught seafood. Karen Bell bought it in 1996 and thought it made sense to offer cooked seafood as well. Sit on the picnic tables overlooking Longboat Key and Bradenton Beach and watch the local commercial fishing fleets. The freshest seafood you can get! Definitely a hidden gem. CASH ONLY
